Her top goal is to help first time home buyers obtain ownership of a home, but she also works with investors and realtor agents. Eclipse Bank has 2 locations in Louisville; Hurstbourne Lane and St Matthews. Jessica has worked as a mortgage lender helping people become homeowners for 6 years. Jessica is a graduate of Sullivan University and has an NMLS license (1463362). She is a Mom of 2 boys; Aunt to 13 kids! She enjoys working out, running with friends, and loves animals. Her family cat is Freddie Mac, named a mortgage company.

From a teen mom to a successful professional and business owner, I identify with women who hustle. I’ve had to learn the grace part. I choose Hustle and Grace to remind us to give ourselves grace in our hustle. I love partnering with other entrepreneurs and championing other women. She is the founder and creative director behind The Wondering Mind Co, which is home to The Wondering Mind-A Mental Health Podcast and soon to be home of, The Wondering Mind- A Mental Health Merchandise Store. Why did she decide to start a mental health brand? Her entire life she's struggled with mental health. She suffers with anxiety, depression and ADHD. All the way up until her late 20’s, she neglected herself and her mental health. She chose to fight against her feelings in order to be “normal.” She chose to party her way through her problems. She found herself in a toxic relationship after that, she until finally was hitting one of the lowest points within her life in 2018. At the time she was with someone who gave her an ultimatum, they said if she didn’t get her shit together then we were going to break up in 6 months. As you can tell, that relationship was unhealthy from the get go, but at the time, she felt it was on her to save it. So in order to dig herself out of the dark hole she had fallen into, she began seeing a therapist, working out regularly, improved her diet and took up some new hobbies. Needless to say the relationship still didn’t work out, but she learned that she was far better off without it. She came to the realization that she was far stronger and way more capable than she gave herself credit for and that she didn’t need to be saved, she was perfectly capable of saving herself. She continued to work on herself from that point on and in 2019 she got an idea to start a podcast because she couldn’t believe how much her mental state had improved, how much she had grown. She wanted to let others know that they aren’t the only ones who struggle with their mental health. She wanted folx to know that it’s possible to learn how to navigate through her mental health struggles and that even though our mindset is constantly changing, we have the capability to maintain our brains and live our very best life.

Eyes That See is a non-profit organization located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We are committed to fighting the poverty and injustice that holds people back from who they are created to be. Keziah Program - The Keziah Project works with wen who desire to leave the sex industry. The women at our center, The Keziah House, where they receive rehabilitation, counseling, access to healthcare, clean water, daily life necessities and education through an accredited school. Upon graduating the program, women are gradually transitioned into the surrounding community and offered continual support as they enter the workforce and begin to live increasingly independent lives.

B.A.Y.A Corporation was founded by Tanisha (Tish) Frederick in May of 2014 and was established as a 501c3 Non-Profit organization in September of 2016. The B.A.Y.A "Beautiful as You Are" name was birthed out of a very low time in the Frederick family household. The family relocated in 2011 and their children had to change schools in the middle of the school year. Their daughter had a very hard time adjusting to the move and began getting bullied in her 7th grade year of middle school. This led to very destructive behavior which caused her to have to be hospitalized. As a mother, Tish could not understand how such a beautiful, talented, and intelligent young lady could suffer from such low self-esteem. One day while Tish was at work, the phrase "Beautiful as You Are" dropped into her spirit and the concept for B.A.Y.A was birthed. The goal of this group is to teach girls that they are so much more than their reflection in the mirror by constantly reinforcing there is much more to life than what you look like or what your peers think of you.vSince 2014 B.A.Y.A has grown from 7 girls to over 300 girls in the Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana area. In March of 2020 B.A.Y.A. added it's first learning center in Clarksville, IN. The B.A.Y.A. Center offers weekly empowerment workshops along with yoga, modern dance, tap, art activities, DIY projects and step classes at no charge.

Being so graciously coined by my nieces as “ the Boujee Auntie”, she is a 25 year old polymer clay jewelry designer born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a sister, a friend, an aunt, a makeup enthusiast, a luxury fashion fanatic, and a proud plant mom As a recent graduate from the University of Louisville in December of 2019, She has started making polymer clay earrings as a hobby during the 2020 pandemic. Launching my brand, Boujee Ears, LLC in January of 2021, her work has been seen on many different women and has even been worn by ROC nation recording artist, Victory Boyd. She named her business “Boujee Ears” because she has always loved fashion, and statement earrings have always been a favorite of hers. However, she believes that earrings should not have to be so heavy that by the time you get home from a long day, you’re ready to throw them away. To me, wearing a pair of your favorite earrings or any other accessories should make you feel beautiful and special. Hell, it may even make you feel a little Boujee! To her, being Boujee is not just a lifestyle, but it’s being unapologetically confident and she hopes that while you’re here, her pieces make you feel just like that!

As a product of West Louisville and a 2003 graduate of the University of Kentucky. Chanda’s 9-5 consists of working with local youth to introduce programs and activities such as STEAM, cooking and nutrition, and earth sciences. She has always had a passion for crafts! She is compelled by art in many different forms and applications. Since the age of 6, Chanda would sit with her late grandmother and craft. Creating magical pieces such as dolls, pottery, paintings, and multiple sewing projects. In 2019 Chanda decided to Show-Up for herself and push her hobby a little further. After questioning and doubting herself, she received confirmation and launched Chanda’s BOWtique! Pronounced BOW-tique. The brand name was created from the hundreds of hair and cheer bows she made for local families and teams. Since then, Chanda has expanded her brand far beyond bows. She specializes in custom shirts, tumblers, bows, bling & so much more! If it can be made, she will do it! She loves to create custom and personalized pieces! She puts a lot of love and passion into each piece. Tell her your vision and she will bring it to life! “It makes my soul smile when a customer loves their product!m. Susan Gibson is a business woman, a boy mom and fitness lover. She has been coaching her clients on nutrition and fitness for over 12 years, specializing in weight loss and sports performance. Not only has she helped her clients lose fat, gain muscle and increase their athletic performance, she too has gotten amazing results – losing 7.3 lbs and 3.3% body fat in 25 days and bouncing back from a healthy pregnancy!! Susan is an experienced endurance runner, cyclist and triathlete, having competed in many short and long distance race events including the Los Angeles & Boston Marathons, the Leadville100 MTB and Ironman Arizona & Switzerland. “I push my body and continue to up-level my goals so I can be an example that when you put your mind to it, any goal is possible!” She moved to Louisville in February of 2019 with aspirations to help improve the health of her new community. She opened Broadway Nutrition in May 2019 - your one stop shop for healthy smoothies, energizing teas, and protein snacks. Since then Susan has opened 5 more nutrition shops in and around Louisville. While she is making strides to provide a healthy haven for those seeking a positive and uplifting environment she still has work to do!

Over the past 7 years, The New Blak has employed over 50 women and has empowered local seamstresses to create little black dresses, tops, bodysuits, and jumpsuits! Woman-Owned Wallet is a brand focused on putting more money into the wallets of women! W.O.W. fulfills its mission daily with a feminist gift shop selling 50+ woman-owned brands, a tour of the woman-owned businesses in NuLu showing off the amazing women in our neighborhood, a podcast that helps foster a more positive relationship with your wallet, and a networking app to cultivate connections between badass women.

Angie is the co-owner of Osteostrong Louisville. She grew up in Lexington but Louisville has been her home for over ten years. She is a mom of two grown children and two fur babies. Angie has had a lifetime passion for health and fitness as a former personal trainer and marathon runner. Angie believes in Osteostrong and the benefits of a strong skeletal system to help others live life stronger than ever.

Natalie is the co-owner of Osteostrong Louisville. She is a business minded women with a background in communications. Natalie is a mom to an adorable four-year-old little girl. She has worked in customer service for ten plus years and truly enjoys connecting with new people. She was born and raised in the city of Louisville and when she found out about Osteostrong she knew she wanted to share it with her hometown. She truly has a passion for helping others and knew the benefits Ostoestrong could bring to so many women in Louisville.

Cassie Lynn Young is a published makeup and tanning artist who specializes in airbrush makeup and organic airbrush tanning. Cassie has been a part of 100's of weddings providing makeup for the bride/bridal parties. In addition she is a former actress, dancer, and dance coach who's love for makeup began at a young age. She is a graduate from the University of Louisville with her Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performance and studied under Jill Glasser at her makeup artistry school in Chicago, IL: Makeup First. Cassie has been a member of the National Tanning Training Institute since 2011 and is a certified tanning artist through their airbrush tanning program. Cassie is a Pro Artist with over 15 cosmetic and tanning companies including Temptu Pro, Alcone, Smashbox, Stila, MAC Cosmetics, Make Up For Ever, Urban Decay, and Sjolie Tanning. As a pro makeup artist she has freelanced for Smashbox Cosmetics events. Cassie has worked with local and national designers and boutiques including Erin Featherston, Gunnar Deatherage, Blush Boutique, General Eccentric, Black Milk Clothing, Kenzie Girl, and many more! Cassie frequently works with local and national photographers and businesses to provide beauty services including Sullivan University, Churchill Downs and Longine. She has provided makeup for national magazines and TV shows such as First for Women and Knock Knock Live! She also provides makeup and tanning services for photo shoots, film, TV, weddings, magazines, events, fashion shows, pageants, fitness competitions and more! Cassie has done makeup for Olympic Gold Medalist Mikaela Shiffrin, TV Host Ross Matthews, Horse Trainer Bob Baffert, and many more celebrity clients. Cassie gives all her clients the "celebrity" treatment!

She is a lifelong Louisville resident and big supporter of all small business and things locally bred. She has overcome many life obstacles including mentally health and she is a person of recovery for over 8 years now. Photography is her favorite hobby and she has been practicing since 2006 when she bought her first camera. Her favorite thing to photograph beautiful and strong women, making them feel empowered and confident! She owns and operats her own small business, Louisville Furniture Revival, where she refinishs, revives and resells mid century modern furniture and decor. She also has been leaning into interior design work in homes and office spaces.

My name is Laney Brittingham and I am originally from Georgia! I started my career with Chicken Salad Chick 11 years ago as a team member! I quickly realized I wanted to be more than a team member and started climbing the corporate ladder! I opened 3 stores in 3 states as a General Manager and then moved into a Regional manager position where I helped lead 8 locations! Finally, in December of 2021 I was able to move to Louisville to become partner for my very own store! As a single gal who is ALMOST 30... I have fallen in love with the city and the people and it makes SHOWING UP so easy! Can not wait to meet all of you ladies!

Teresa Walker, M.D., is the owner and psychiatrist at New Leaf Clinic, a rehabilitative program for those struggling with substance use disorders and/or mental illness. Where they help their clients rebuild their lives. They founded a nonprofit, the Seeds of New Leaf, that helps them overcome the barriers to treatment, helping with transportation to the clinic, rent while in treatment, clothing, food, etc. She attended the University of Kentucky for undergraduate and medical school. And Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic of UPMC for psychiatric residency. While in residency, she focused on psychosis, addiction and community psychiatry. She was previously the psychiatrist at Central State hospital and Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. She recently became a real estate investor and the owner of Green Door REI. She invests in multifamily homes via the BRRRR model. There is an expensive and steep learning curve but hoping for longterm results and financial freedom for her family. She was born and raised in Louisville, KY. Her father, Micheal T White was 20 yrs sober when he passed in Aug. 2016, so she grew up going to meetings and surrounded by the principles of recovery. This personal experience provides an empathic lens through which she guides the clinic. Her mother worked 3 jobs for the majority of her childhood, so that no opportunities were missed. She is the mother to an insanely amazing 6 yr old daughter, Skylar. You can find them at tennis lessons, cheer practice, traveling, hanging out with Marshmallow and “Mr.Bob”, or doing science experiments. She is a member of Jack and Jill, Derby City Chapter, on the advisory council of the Hope Village (which she loves), Chair of the Black Affinity group at KCD, Chair of the Bearcat Family Festival, Chair of MOUD in the Healing Studies Initiative in Jefferson Co, member of The Situation Table, and Falls City Medical Society.
